Why I Hate The New York Yankees
Like I needed another reason to hate the New York Yankees then they go out and spend 244 million dollars on the two best pitchers on the free agent market. They gave CC Sabathia a seven year 161 million dollar deal earlier in the week. Now I see yesterday they signed A.J. Burnett to a five year deal worth 82 and a half million dollars. If this is not a perfect example of why Major League Baseball needs a salary cap then nothing is. Smaller teams don’t have a chance to get any good players to make them a better team. Then the people against a salary cap reply well you need to look at your farm teams and do a better job of developing players. Well that don’t work cause as soon as the player gets good and comes up to the big leagues a team with loads of money takes him. This past season there was nobody happier than me when the Yankees didn’t make the playoffs and the fact that it was the Tampa Bay Rays with a payroll of probably one fourth what the Yankees is was to sweet. While I am at it I will also say I don’t care for the Mets either and for the same reason.
Ha i like how the Brewers shot the Yanks down because they wanted cash with Mike Cameron lol
I hate the yanks too… but they’ve been fairly irrelevant the last few years so, it’s made for some enjoyable baseball in my opinion.
