Dungy Stepping Down As Colts Coach
The Tony Dungy era has ended for the Indianapolis Colts after seven seasons. He has scheduled a 5 p.m. press conference to make the announcement. Jim Caldwell one of his assistants will be named the new head coach. Dungy has been going around the teams complex all morning saying goodbye to players and team employees. He has said he talked it over with his family and they believe that this is the right time to make the decision. In the seven years he was with the Colts his record was 92-33 and they made the playoffs every year including winning the Super Bowl back in 2006. The Colts were beaten in the playoffs this year by the San Diego Chargers 23-17 in overtime.
