There’s media reports out that say Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth was legally drunk when he hit and killed a pedestrian Saturday morning. Reports say that Stallworth’s blood alcohol level was between .08 and .16, .08 is considered legally drunk in Florida.

Stallworth was on his way to the beach Saturday morning when he struck and killed Mario Reyes with his Bentley. Reyes was on his way home from work as a crane operator and was waiting on a bus.

Stallworth issued a statement Wednesday saying he is “grief stricken” over Reyes death.

Stallworth is another example of an NFL player who just don’t get how lucky they are and end up doing something stupid and irresponsible and ruining their lives. Whats worse is that they ruin innocent peoples lives as well. Here’s Reyes a hard working guying, worked all night on a crane and going home to his family and gets run over by a millionaire NFL player out drunk driving.

There’s to many NFL players for me to even list who have got caught up in stupid irresponsible stuff and ruined their lives. It pisses me off to see them doing it to themselves but when they hurt other people in their wreckless behavior then its twice as bad.

Stallworth had just signed a 7 year 35 million dollar contract with the Browns before last season. I know money wont bring their father, husband, son, brother back but the Reyes family should be able to get some of the millions Stallworth has as compensation for losing their loved one.
