Tony Stewart drives for Rick Hendrick
I can’t tell you how old it has gotten listening to the Fox and Speed announcers go on and on about what a great job Tony Stewart has done this Nascar Sprint Cup season. If I hear Larry McReynolds say one more time how impressed he is with Stewart’s new team I am going to reach through the TV and pull the rest of his hair out.
Tony Stewart is nothing more than a team mate of Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Mark Martin. The car he drives is powered by Hendrick engines,the chassis’s of his car are made by Hendricks. He’s even got Darren Grubb as his crew chief to the 14 car he drives. Rick Hendrick should have given Dale Jr. Darren Grubb and give Tony Stewart Tony Eury Jr. then Dale Jr wouldn’t be struggling like he is.
I will give Darrell Waltrip credit though because he did say Saturday night during the race that Tony Stewart ought to be doing good cause hes got Hendrick’s stuff under him.
Let Tony Stewart start a team from scratch like Jeremy Mayfield and Tommy Baldwin are trying to do and have the kind of success he’s having right now. Right now Tony Stewart is one of six cars Rick Hendricks fields if you include Ryan Newman who is suppose to have the same equipment as Tony.
