My Sports Christmas Wish List

Published by wv918 under Misc. Edit This

wish listHere is my Christmas sports wish-list that I hope happens in my favorite sports. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and all your wishes come true. Except the ones that go against mineSmile

1. I am hoping that the Miami Dolphins beat the New York Jets this weekend and make the playoffs for the first time since 2002 I think. I also noticed they switched the kickoff to 4:15 instead of 1:00 so I may get to see them play. FYI if you live in WV and only have cable your stuck with watching Bengals, Browns or Steelers as a result I hate all three of them.

2. I am hoping when Nascar starts in February Richard Petty will have found a driver for his 43 car and full-time sponsorship. If Petty has to run a part time schedule or worse yet shut his team down it will be a very sad thing for Nascar. Also hoping Kasey Kahne goes back to his winning ways like in 2007 when he won 7 races. Maybe he can make it into the chase for the cup this year.

3. I am hoping the Atlanta Braves somehow can have a good season and compete with the other teams. Its hard for me to see them winning their division with all the pitching problems they have but maybe something will come together between now and opening day.

4. I also hope the New York Yankees fall flat on their face and dont make the post season next year. Ill go one better I hope they don’t even win 82 games. Spending 400 million dollars on three players my mind cant even get wrapped around that. I hope the Tampa Rays take it again next season then see if Steinbrenner can top the billion mark in spending to buy his way into the World Series.
